Spandia and Dixia, aka the Spandix Twins, may be one of the strangest hit phenomena of 2004. Following a limited local rlease, their first single BABY LIZARD STEW (a description of a rather disgusting Spandavian recipe) received coverage on TV, ardio, the web and in print. The animated video – produced by Flicks Flims of Mr Men fame – was shown on Nickelodeon and the BBC. With a spooky book of Spandix stories due out soon and the single having a national launch in time for Halloween, you can expect the unexpected from this mischievous duo!
